What comes first
Two pieces are up ahead of the Nov. 3 general election.
A preview of the Sioux City rally on Thursday, Oct. 22. KTIV reported on Oct. 19 that President Donald Trump will hold a rally at Sioux Gateway Airport. KTIV said the Republican National Committee announced the rally. When the rally was first announced, WOWT reported that the RNC invitation listed no exact location.
The event's RSVP page on events.gop.com, paid for by Trump 47 Committee, Inc., lists the same date and venue. The page and KTIV give the same times: doors at 2:30 p.m., program at 4:30 p.m. and remarks at 6:00 p.m. Central. The full preview covers entry rules, banned items and past parking plans.
A voter guide for Tuesday, Nov. 3. The voter guide covers registration, absentee and early voting, ID at the polls, and the races on the ballot, with links to official sources.
TFS News will cover public campaign events in Iowa from any party on the same terms: what is confirmed, what is not, and links to the sources.
Still time to vote early
The Iowa Secretary of State says in-person absentee voting at your county auditor's office runs through Monday, Nov. 2, the day before the election. You can also vote on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, when polls close at 8:00 p.m.
